Written by on March 20, 2019

Young people in the Big Horn Basin are encouraged to apply for an award that would garner a free lifetime game bird and small game license.
Youth ages 14-17 can apply to the Tom Easterly Memorial award, which was established in the spirit of the former Greybull biologist who served from 1992 through 2014. To apply, teens must submit an application and essay describing why they hunt and why wildlife is important to them.
To be eligible, applicants must reside within the boundaries of the Greybull Biologist District which include Basin, Burlington, Cowley, Greybull, Lovell, Manderson, Ten Sleep and Worland and be a resident who has continuously resided in Wyoming for at least 10 years immediately preceding the date of application.
This year marks the fifth year lifetime Wyoming game bird/small game license and lifetime conservation stamp awards will be awarded to area youth.
Applications are due on April 1st. Visit and access the full article for a link to download this year’s application.
