Bighorn Canyon Meeting Saturday

Area residents who would like a say in planning projects at Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area and Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument are invited to a public meeting this Saturday.
Staff from both parks will be in attendance at a public comment meeting held at the Big Horn County Historical Museum in Hardin, Montana on June 1st from 1-4pm at the museum’s outdoor gazebo.
Staff will discuss park projects such as: Ok-a-beh marina and concessions, water level issues, Afterbay Dam and bridge, Yellowtail Dam Visitor Center improvements, developments at Horseshoe Bend, the Ewing-Snell Ranch project and historic preservation, the proposed water and waste water project at Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument and interpretive media updates and other plans for 2019.
This meeting is open to the public and all are welcome. No reservations are required.
