Written by on October 22, 2022

The Cody Filly Swim and Dive team would take home a 2nd place finish at the 3A East Regional Swim Meet this weekend.

Powell would take 1st as a team.

The Fillies would come away with a pair of relay wins.

Tara Joyce was named Athlete of the Year and Athlete of the Meet.

There were a ton of top 6 and top 12 finishes.

And Head Coach Emily Swett was named Coach of the Year.

I was awarded with Coach of the Year

Very solid 2nd place finish overall!

The girls swam and dove amazingly well! There were so many lifetime bests and great swims over the weekend even though not everyone was fully rested for this meet. With less than two weeks until state, it’s now time to really start resting and fine tuning everything so that we can finish up the season strong!

Up Next: Filly Swim will take part in the 2022 State Swim Meet November 3rd through 5th in Laramie.
