Cody High School Temporarily Loses Its Internet

Update (12/15/2020 2:26 p.m.):
The Cody High School Office has confirmed that internet services at the Cody High School building are restored and internet and phones are working properly. All calls to the schools and district office should go through without any complications.
Cody High School is offline today after a technical issue has the entire campus in the dark, possibly for a few days.
Superintendent Peg Monteith confirmed that a system failure has rendered the entire building that currently leaves Cody High School, Heart Mountain Academy, and the Park County School District #6 Central Office bereft of internet access.
” We had a system failure that we are working on,” Monteith said in a message to KODI. “We may be down through tomorrow. If folks are trying to reach us via email or phone they won’t be able to get a response. We are employing hotspots where we are able and working on a solution for tonight’s board meeting.”
The Park County School District #6 is scheduled to begin Tuesday evening a 6 p.m. It has been streamed live in recent months due to the pandemic, but a solution for the meeting has yet to be figured out.
If you need to reach out to any district staff, call their cellphones rather than office numbers.
