Original Story:

Cody High School is offline today after a technical issue has the entire campus in the dark, possibly for a few days.

Superintendent Peg Monteith confirmed that a system failure has rendered the entire building that currently leaves Cody High School, Heart Mountain Academy, and the Park County School District #6 Central Office bereft of internet access.

” We had a system failure that we are working on,” Monteith said in a message to KODI. “We may be down through tomorrow. If folks are trying to reach us via email or phone they won’t be able to get a response. We are employing hotspots where we are able and working on a solution for tonight’s board meeting.”

The Park County School District #6 is scheduled to begin Tuesday evening a 6 p.m. It has been streamed live in recent months due to the pandemic, but a solution for the meeting has yet to be figured out.

If you need to reach out to any district staff, call their cellphones rather than office numbers.

This is a developing story. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
