Cody Legion in Colorado

After having the long Memorial Day weekend off for Cody High School’s graduation that past Saturday along with Monday’s holiday itself, Cody’s American Legion baseball program – the Single-A as well as B teams – went down to Grand Junction, CO, yesterday.  Each Cubs squad is slated for six games apiece versus different prep foes from out of state over three days beginning this Tuesday morning, as well as attending the 2018 National Junior College Athletic Association JUCO World Series by night.

The Cody varsity gang first plays a split duo of clashes today with the Deer Valley HS Skyhawks from Glendale, AZ, as well as Colorado’s own Delta HS Panthers.  By Wednesday afternoon, those Cubbies meet the nearby town of Fruita’s Fruita Monument HS Wildcats back-to-back over a traditional doubleheader.  Then, Thursday, Cody’s A unit wraps up its road trip by seeing Junction’s Central HS Warriors in another twinbill prior to coming home Friday.
