Cody Track Teams Off and Running, Finally, in 2023

Ladies and Gentlemen, for the first time this season a track meet has completed.

After several weeks of weather cancellations Cody and area schools were able to compete in their first track meet of the season.

After the Kelly Walsh Invited was canceled, 30+ teams gathered in Worland for the D&D meet to debut the season.

Let’s take a look at how Cody performed.

No team results were given.

Let’s take a look at some of the top individual performers, starting with the Fillies:

Ada Nelson was 2nd in the 400.

Taylen Stinson finished 1st in both the 800 and 1600.

Kylie Silva was 4th in the 3200.

The Sprint Medley Relay Team was 1st. The 4×400 Team was 2nd and the 4×800 Team was 3rd.

Allison Gee was 4th in both the High Jump and Long Jump.

Isabelle Paddock was 3rd in the Pole Vault.

Laura Phillips was 6th in the Shot Put.

And now looking at the top individual performers, starting with the Broncs.

AJ Baustert was 1st in the 200 and 2nd in the 100.

Dillon Brost was 1st in the 100 and 1st in the Pole Vault.

Charlie Hulbert was 2nd in the 1600 and 3rd in the 800.

Graidin Arnold was 4th in the 110 Hurdles.

The 4×400 Relay Team was 4th.

Maddax Ball was 4th in the High Jump.

Kaden Clark was 4th in the Pole Vault.

Jace Grant and Logan Class went 4-5 in the Discuss.
