Written by on January 24, 2022

Cody veterans will not attend in-person meetings this week, as the Cody VA Clinic will be closed to all appointments until Jan. 31.

Due to staffing issues, the Cody VA Clinic announced that it would not be open this week – Monday, Jan. 24 to Friday, Jan. 28. Therefore, any existing appointments will need to be rescheduled or changed to virtual (either phone or video.)

Veterans with questions can reach the Veterans Affairs office in Cody at 307-587-4015.

Meanwhile, Cody-based veterans service officer Brad Cline has announced community outreach services throughout the Bighorn Basin in February.

Cline – a state of Wyoming veterans service officer from the Wyoming Veterans Commission – will conduct four community outreach services meetings in February. He can meet with veterans and their families to discuss state and federal veterans’ benefits, Department of Veterans Affairs claims, or VA healthcare.

Cline can also help veterans and their families apply for benefits, file claims, or request healthcare.

Throughout February, Cline will be available at the following locations:

  • Powell: Monday, Feb. 7, at the Powell Senior Center, 248 N. Gilbert St., from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Greybull: Wednesday, Feb. 9, at the Greybull Senior Center, 417 S. 2nd St., from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Thermopolis: Thursday, Feb. 17, at the Hot Springs County Senior Center, 206 Senior Ave., from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Greybull: Wednesday, Feb. 23, at the Greybull Senior Center, 417 S. 2nd St., from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Cline also has one appointment remaining in January. He will be at the Greybull Senior Center this Wednesday, Jan. 26, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

On most other weekdays, Cline is available by appointment at his office. Contact Brad Cline at 307-250-3890 to schedule an appointment at his office or any of the listed locations.

In-person appointments at the Cody VA Clinic Monday, Jan. 24 through Friday, Jan. 28, will be rescheduled or changed to virtual (phone or video) appointments due to staffing. As a result, the clinic will not be open during that week.
