The Worland City Council accepted a resignation at Tuesday night’s meeting at City Hall.
Melissa Rivera–councilwoman for Ward 3–submitted a letter of resignation from the board as she has accepted a new job outside of town. The council voted to accept the resignation and as well declared a vacancy. Clerk-Treasurer Tracy Glanz will now publish an opening looking to gauge interest–giving those who may want to serve a deadline of July 31st to submit a letter of interest in serving.
