Filly Volleyball is State Tournament Bound

The Cody Filly Volleyball team is State Tournament bound. The Fillies punched their ticket to state over the weekend as they knocked off both Riverton and Evantston.

This will be the first time since 2018 that the Fillies have made it to State.

It may not have been pretty at times but the Fillies did just what they had to do, win two matches before losing two.

The Regional tournament got underway on Friday with the Fillies dropping their first match to Rock Springs, 3 games to 2.

Did the Fillies flinch? No, just the opposite..

Cody would go on to win their next six sets, sweeping both Riverton and Evanston in three games. The sweep over Evanston officially clinched their spot at state.

The Fillies would then lose to Rock Springs in the consolation match and will be the No. 4 seed at this week’s Class 4A State Volleyball tournament, which will be played at the Casper events center.

The Fillies open play at state, on Thursday, at 3pm and will be facing off against Laramie.
