The Wyoming Cowboy Football team, on Tuesday, finished up their fourth official practice of the spring.

As Wyoming continues through the spring slate a familiar name popped up on the Tuesday practice report.

According to Cody Tucker of 7220 Sports Nic Talich was awarded the game ball at Tuesday’s practice. Yes, Coach Bohl said that’s a thing. Talich, the former Cody Bronc “got a pick, six the ol’ Cody Bronc,” Coach Bohl said with a smile. Bohl continued saying “ Everybody jumped up and down. They were excited about that.”

As many know, Nic’s dad Jim was a standout at UW, and to this day is the third all-time leading tackler in school history.

Now, Nic is trying to carve out his own path. Nic lead all of Class 3A of Wyoming High School Football in Defensive points his senior year and third most in the state and capped off the 2020 season a state champion.

Nic was a preferred walk-on at Wyoming. He and another former Cody Bronc, Duncan Radakovich are continuing to battle for playing time.
