Currently, stars like Kit Harington who played Jon Snow on HBO’s Game of Thrones adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire, and Josh Lucas from the hit TV show Yellowstone, are cast members. Scoot McNairy who had roles in 12 Years a Slave, Gone Girl, and True Detective will make an appearance as well.

In the film, a road salesman named Cliff, played by Scoot McNairy, is drowning under the weight of providing for his family and ends up on a dangerous path when he reconnects with an old colleague named Ricky who makes a significant amount of money dealing in illegal weapons for an American cartel boss played by John Lucas.

According to Highland Film Group, “Cliff doesn’t like the situation one bit but with no other options to make some fast money, he allows his beat-up station wagon to be retrofitted to secretly carry dozens of kilos of drugs. When a simple exchange turns into a bloodbath, Ricky kills everyone in a territory grab.”

Scheduled for production this November, the film is being directed by Rod Blackhurst who worked on Amanda Knox and John Wayne Gacy: Devil in Disguise for Netflix. Producers include Noah Lang, Mark Fasano, and Bernard Kira.

While many details surrounding the project are still unknown, the company’s website says the film is still in “pre-production.”
