Gates Open at 4 for Clint Black; Thousands of Seats Available

Thursday night’s event at the Cody Stampede Grounds is generating a lot of buzz.
People throughout the Big Horn Basin have been scrambling to get wristbands and make their plans to arrive in time for the free Clint Black concert tomorrow night. But there have been many misconceptions about how to get in, and what you need to bring with you.
Jed Burns, General Manager for the Big Horn Radio Network, points out that although the arena floor wristbands have all been distributed, that doesn’t mean the event is filled up. He says there are six thousand seats available in the grandstands, and those will be available on a first come, first serve basis after the gates open at 4 p.m.
And while large bags, pets, coolers, outside food and drinks are prohibited, Burns notes that there will be food vendors offering tacos, Philly cheesesteak and other items, as well as a cash bar and the opportunity to purchase water and other beverages.
He adds that some individual vendors may accept credit and debit cards, but only cash can be used for the auction that will take place at 6:45, and also for donations which will be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the beneficiary of all funds raised at the event.
