LeAnn Baker from the Washakie Development Association gave an impassioned speech to the council members and public in attendance as she announced that all Grow Worland funds that were entrusted to WDA are now working for the City.
A large loan for a new startup business–307 Aviation was approved and will create 3 new jobs and also utilize the airport–which continues to be an asset to Worland. As well–she is processing another request for a loan that will allow a business to stay open through sale–instead of going out of business. The council thanked her for her efforts.
