It Was Cody’s Second Driest June on Record

Last month was the second driest and tied for the third warmest June in Cody on record.

There was 0.06 inch of precipitation in June, while the average temperature was 68.9 degrees, according to Tim Troutman, warning coordination meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Riverton. Troutman was the guest Thursday morning on KODI’s “Speak Your Piece with Darian Dudrick.”

Listed are rankings of the driest and warmest months of June in Cody on record, according to Troutman:
