Lady Warriors Go 2-1 In Cowley

The Lady Warriors beat Riverside twice at the Big Horn Basin Classic.
With a 32-26 win in their second game on Friday the Lady Warriors held Riverside’s Caroline Schlattmann to 6 points and Lady Rebel leading scorer Dailyn Zierolf to 10 points.
Lady Warriors Delilah Salazar would hit three 3 point shots and get 10 points in the game. Yahaira Aguayo had 8 points.
The second win against the Riverside Lady Rebels would come Saturday afternoon.
Defensively Worland held Riverside’s Zierolf to 5 points and Schlattmann to 10.
Salazar would again lead the Warriors in scoring with 8 points including two 3 pointers.
Freshman MacKenzie Ray was Worland’s second leading scorer with 7 points in the 4th period. Listen to Ray’s interview at the bottom of the page.
The loss to Rocky Mountain saw Jaz Aguayo score 11 points that included three 3’s and Senior Carley Yule with 6 points in the 35-30 loss.
