Lady Warriors Open Season With A Win

The Lady Warriors start their season with a win over the Hot Springs County Lady Bobcats 60-50. Worland started it’s all Senior line-up. Darla Hernandez, Denali Jones, Ajaih Montoya, Tymberlynn Crippen, and Logan Yule.
The Lady Bobcats leading scorer was Julie Johnson with 20 points driving the lane and putting Denali Jones in early foul trouble. Thermopolis would make 7 shots from the 3 point arch. Stretching the Lady Warriors defense.
The first half showed to be a little different look for the Lady Warriors as Brooke Wright would substitute in for Denali Jones. Ajaih Montoya lead the team in scoring for the first half with 10 points.
The second half began to look more like the Lady Warriors we’ve seen in the past. Darla Hernandez would finish with a team high 15 points Denali Jones finished with 12 points, 8 of those in the second half. Montoya had 14 on the game.
