Lady Warriors Volleyball Take 3rd In Silver Bracket

The Lady Warrior Volleyball team finished 3rd in the Silver Bracket at the Rawlins Invite.
In a tournament that had all 16 3A, Wyoming Volleyball Teams the Lady Warriors went 3-2-1 and earned 3rd place with a win over host Rawlins lady Outlaws.
Worland started the tournament in Pool A which included Moorcroft, Rawlins, Lander, and Worland.
The Lady Warriors saw Lander first and would get a 1-1 tie 21-11, 16-21.
Next was a match loss to Moorcroft 0-2: 13-12, 18-21
The final match on Friday was host Rawlins where the Lady Warriors would get both sets 21-18, 21-18, and go 1-1-1 in Pool play.
Worland lost out on the Gold Bracket by 1 point over Lander and would play day 2 in the Silver Bracket.
Day 2 saw the Lady Warriors start with Conference rivals Lovell and get a 2 set to 1 match win. 21-18, 24-26, 19-17.
With the win, the Lady Warriors would face Newcastle and lose the match 1-2. 21-19, 15-21, 13-15.
In the 3rd Place Match, Worland would play Rawlins for the second time in two days. Winning the match in straight sets 2-0. 21-10, 21-13, and winning 3rd Place.
The Lady Warriors will start Conference play Friday with matches against Lovell, and Powell.
Worland (5-4-1) will host Lovell (6-8-1), the first home match of the season, Friday at 5 pm from Warrior Gym.
Saturday the Lady Warriors head to Powell and face a Lady Panther team that is (8-5-1) this season and has been ranked this season.
