Concrete work in Cody?

WYDOT will soon begin another road repair project between the Shoshone River Bridge and Park County Road 2AB, north of town. S&S Builders LLC of Gillette will be removing and replacing concrete road slabs. The slabs were settled and broke sometime in the spring. If they are not repaired in a timely fashion, they could cause a significant hazard to the travelling public, resident and tourist alike.

The good news is that this will not be a lengthy process. The entire $84 thousand dollar project should only take about 3 weeks to be fully completed. During this time, traffic movements on the 3-lane section of WY120 will be carried on a single travel lane in each direction while work is being completed on the other lane. Expect flaggers and short delays for equipment and trucks entering the work zone, and there will be some kind of traffic control 24 hours a day.

The work begins this Wednesday, July 22nd. For information about this specific WYDOT project, contact WYDOT public relations specialist Cody Beers at (307) 431-1803.
