New Digital Messaging Signs and Web Cameras Coming to NW Wyoming

New digital message signs and web cameras are coming to northwest Wyoming and the Big Horn Basin.
The new locations for the signs include multiple installations in the Big Horn Basin. They will be located as follows–1 mile north of Shoshoni–5 1/2 miles south of Thermopolis near the Wind River Canyon–1 Mile south of Worland–3 1/2 miles east of Worland and 2 miles south of Greybull and 2 miles west of Cody. An additional sign on US 26–Wyoming 287 will be located 8 miles east of Moran Junction.
Work will begin on US26/Wyoming 287 and Wyoming Department of Transportation resident Engineer Kaia Tharp of Thermopolis states quote–“Work will include grading for guardrail and guardrail placement starting at this location. The project will move to Shoshoni, Thermopolis, Worland, Greybull and Cody over the next month. Work will then start in the same order to install the drilled shafts, conduit and etc. Placement of the digital-message signs signs will be completed next spring.” End quote.
