No Carnival or Turkeys at Lions Club Turkey Shoot, Still to Have Raffle

Written by on November 13, 2020

To counter previous news, the Cody Lions Club Annual Turkey Shoot is back again Nov 21st 2020.

In consideration of public safety during this unsettled time, there have been a number of changes to the days events.  The most noticeable changes, will be a lack of turkeys and carnival games at the event.  There will be plenty of fun and prizes to those who attend the annual event held at the Bob Moore Memorial Parking Lot.

Raffle tickets for numerous prizes are currently on sale at Eastgate Cleaners, Pinnacle Bank, and from Cody Lions Club members.  Tickets will also be available the day of the raffle at the Bob Moore Memorial Parking Lot, during the event. There are many prizes this year including, cash prizes, a cut and wrapped half of beef, a Yeti Tundra 45 cooler, a Traeger Pro 780 Wi-Fi Pellet Grill, and the chance to win a new 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 Classic Crew 4×4 truck.  Winners for all prizes, including the truck, will be announced beginning at 4:00 pm on Nov 21st.  Proceeds from the sale of raffle tickets will be shared equally between the Cody Lions Club and Youth Clubs of Park County.
If you’re out and about on the 21st, be sure to tune into KODI AM 1400, or FM 96.7 from 6 am until 5 pm.  The Cody Lions Club will continue their traditional broadcast of the event with special guests, and will be announcing the winners for all to hear.
