No Injuries from Fire on Skyline Drive Overnight

Although the June Fire up the North Fork has gathered much attention in the last week, another fire caused concern for a local family overnight.
The Cody Fire department was dispatched late yesterday evening to a structure fire on the Glenn Nielsen property on Skyline Drive.
According to Park County District 2 Fire Marshal Sam Wilde, the fire started in the barn and consumed the barn and a haystack. While the residents were home at the time, there were no injuries, and the home was not damaged.
Wilde said that the cause of the fire is still under investigation, but he was going to have to wait for daylight to quote, “do some more digging,” endquote.
