No Serious Injuries in Powell Highway Crash

Written by on November 17, 2017

A car crash on the Powell Highway this past Sunday left one person with a broken ankle, but no other serious injuries.
According to Wyoming Highway Patrol Trooper Brad McConnell, a PT Cruiser was headed west bound on Highway 14 Sunday, when for unknown reasons, the driver swerved into the oncoming lane. The driver over corrected, sending the vehicle into a spin, colliding with a Dodge Durango that was headed east. The passenger side of the Cruiser hit the front driver’s side of the Durango.
McConnell says that there were five people in the Durango, one of which suffered a broken ankle and was taken to the hospital, where the victim was treated and released. The driver of the PT Cruiser suffered only lacerations from flying glass and declined treatment at the scene.
Trooper McConnell says that the driver of the PT Cruiser was cited for illegal lane use.
