No Sprinklers? City of Cody Works to Repair Raw Water System

Written by on August 25, 2021

The City of Cody is working to address a break in the raw water system, so your lawn might go a few days without its daily sprinkle of water.

On Monday, August 23, the City of Cody announced via Facebook that there would be an interrupt to the city’s raw water supply.

“A main line for the raw water system has broken, causing the entire system to be shut down. It is possible that the system will be down for the next three to four days, depending on availability of repair parts.”

City administrators are currently looking into acquiring the necessary parts, but there’s no deadline or timeline at this point.

Raw water is most commonly used in lawn sprinkler systems. If the main line is down, its means Cody’s lawns will have to go without water until repairs are completed.

Anyone with questions or concerns can contact the City of Cody directly.
