Powell Youth Injured in Crash

Powell High School quarterback Ethan Asher is in a medically induced coma after injuries suffered in a truck crash earlier this week.
The Park County Sheriff’s Office reports that the crash occurred at just before 8 a.m. on Tuesday, August 27th on Lane 9 outside of Powell. According to the deputy’s report the driver of the vehicle was 18-year-old Ethan Asher, who was ejected from the 2007 Dodge pickup after he overcorrected and rolled the truck, which ultimately landed in a field nearby.
Asher, who was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash, was taken by ambulance to Powell Valley Hospital. He was later air lifted to Billings Clinic in Montana.
The Casper Star-Tribune reports that Asher’s mother Tiffani posted a message on Facebook thanking everyone for the overwhelming support and asked for continued prayers.
