Written by on February 17, 2021

The long time conservative talk show host, Rush Limbaugh, died today at the age of 70 years old after his long battle with stage IV lung cancer.

The announcement came from his wife on his radio show this morning.

The radio pioneer paved the way for many talk show hosts in radio reforming a lot of the classic radio structure we had always known.

His show was the most listened to radio program in the United States and his amazing work on air for 33 years earned him the presidential medal of freedom in February of 2020.

Limbaugh will go down as one of the most influential and polarizing figures in American media history and he will always be remembered for the effect he had on millions of Americans.
