South Big Horn County Hospital’s Board is looking to expand it’s services. At the boards last meeting, Vince DiFranco, the districts interim CEO, said the district is involved in negotiations with Banner Health for an agreement with a podiatrist to offer a clinic at Midway. That’s according to a report in the Basin Republican Rustler.
Additionally, DiFranco said they are also in discussions with Cody Regional Health to bring a General Surgery and a Cardiology specialty clinic to Midway.
The newspaper says that DiFranco is also exploring offering tele-health services for the emergency department and remote specialty care. He pointed out that tele-health services are already being used in 29 communities in Wyoming and Montana.
