The 2022 WyFB Collegiate Discussion Meet Takes Place in Casper, November 10th

The Wyoming Farm Bureau Federation (WyFB) is hosting an opportunity for college students in Wyoming to apply their university studies to a larger discussion of agricultural issues through the “Collegiate Discussion Meet.”

In Casper, on November 10th, the 2022 contest will be held during the WyFB 103rd Annual Meeting. Casper College is the host school, and the contest is being organized by the WyFB Young Farmer & Rancher Committee.

To participate, contestants need to be between the ages of “18-35,” have an interest in agriculture and be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at a Wyoming community college or at the University of Wyoming.

On Thursday, Nov. 10th, the contest will begin at 4 p.m. and will feature two roundtable discussions on agricultural topics followed by a final round with the top four qualifiers. The winner will receive a $300 cash prize and an expense-paid trip to Jacksonville, Florida, in March of 2023 to compete in the national competition for collegiate scholarships.
