In an early match in Lander on Tuesday the Warriors would play ahead of the rainstorm that was to come.

Lander and Worland would hold themselves each scoreless in the first half of a West Conference match with a 10-0-1 Worland team and a 6-5 Lander team.

The Warriors were Wyoming’s 3A Boy’s Soccer number 1 ranked team, Lander the number 3 ranked team.

The second half would start differently for the Warriors.

Kolter Wyman would get the assist to Evyn Ruelas just :07 seconds over 3 minutes in the second period.

Ruelas would score again from a Cole Venable assist :33 seconds later at the 36:20 mark the warriors were up 2-0.

The Warriors would score again on a solo from Venable 2 minutes and :19 seconds later.

At the 28:48 mark in the second half Worland would get another score from Senior Kolter Wyman with a Venable assist up 4-0 over the Tigers.

Senior Ruelas would get his first career “Hat-Trick” and score his 3rd goal 12 minutes and :13 seconds after his 1st with the assist from Cole Venable.

Sophomore Owen Page would sink a netter at the 22:41 mark from a Carter Clark assist.

The Warriors up 6-0 over Lander at that point.

The Tigers would get a score at the 18:40 mark in the match giving a 5 goal Warrior lead 6-1.

Senior Jorey Anderson with a goal off of Venable’s 4th assist of the match. 7-1 Worland lead.

Senior and, 2021 Gatorade Player of the Year, Cole Venable would add 2 more solo goals and get a “Hat-Trick” sending his total goals on the season to 33.

The Worland Warriors would get the 9-1 win over Lander and their record to 11-0-1 overall and 8-0-1 in the west Conference.

Worland heads to Pinedale Saturday for a 3pm match against the Wranglers.
