Willwood Dam Meeting Tonight

The public is invited to attend a meeting tonight regarding the operation of the Willwood Dam.
State, federal, and local partners are hosting the meeting, which will center on efforts by these partners to protect the Shoshone River fishery. The meeting will be held tonight 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the basement of the Big Horn Federal office in Cody.
Staff from the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality/Water Quality Division, Wyoming Game and Fish Department, Willwood Irrigation District, United States Bureau of Reclamation, Wyoming Water Development Office, and the Wyoming State Engineers Office will be present to provide an update and answer questions regarding the activities that have occurred following the sediment release from Willwood Dam that occurred in October and November of last year.
Included in the discussion will be information on recently revised operating recommendations for the dam.
