Worland Cross Country To Host Warrior Invite Thursday

After a rescheduling of the Lander Invite the Warriors are set to Host The Warrior Invite Thursday.

The Worland High School Cross Country team missed the Lander Invite last week but got a work day in instead.

They also ran the 8-mile, Stop sign to Stop sign, Old Highway Road outside of Ten Sleep.

The run starts at the Fish Hatchery and winds up the Old Highway 16 Road along Ten Sleep Creek elevating up 2000 feet.

It is a Worland High School Cross Country Tradition and Right of Passage.

The Team is preparing for the Warrior Invite at Green Hill Golf Course that includes: Buffalo, Cody, Lander, Lovell, Powell, Riverton, Rocky Mountain/Burlington, St. Stephens, Thermopolis, and Worland.

It will also be Senior Night and will honor the Senior Runners: Jack Bishop, Harley Redding, Gage Stanek, Koby Swain, Isaira Matamoros, Sarai Matamoros, and Carly Venable.
