Worland Warrior Cross Country To Start Strong

The Worland Warrior and Lady Warrior Cross Country team started practice Monday.

They will begin their season in Powell on the 28th of August.

The State Championships will be in Ethete, Wyoming on the Wyoming Indian High School campus.

The Warriors look to be lead by Senior Jackson Wassum and Junior Jack Bishop.

The Lady Warriors lead by Junior Carly Venable and the Matamoros Sisters Isaira and Saria also Sophomore Jaden Earl.

Wyoming is a leader in Cross Country Nationally. Rawlins’ Sydney Thorvaldson who is now running at Arkansas and Peter Visser of Star Valley who is currently running at Arizona State.
