Worland’s Hernandez Playing At The Next Level

Worland High School Graduate Darla Hernandez is playing Womens’ College Basketball at Northwest College in Powell.

Darla is the starting Center for the Lady Trappers. She lead Northwest Collage in scoring both Friday and Saturday with 16 points, 10 rebounds, 3 steals and a block on Friday against the Carroll College JV winning 77-64.

Saturday Darla lead in scoring with 20 points 7 rebounds, and 5 assists. As NWC won 76-56.

Darla averages 10.2 points per game with 6 rebounds and 13 steals. Hernandez has scored 112 points in 14 games and has a total of 63 rebounds.

The Lady Trappers are 6-8 this season and 2-0 at home.

Northwest College will play Dawson Community College on Friday the 17th of December at 12 noon at Cabre Gym on the Campus of Northwest College.
