The Washakie County Commissioners and Worland City Council will both meet in regular sessions today.
The county commission will begin their agenda at 9:00 A.M at the Washakie County Courthouse. In addition to updates from departments across the county–the commissioners will also have members from WYDOT coming in at 11:00 A.M. to discuss the State Transportation Improvement Plan. This will include a presentation on future projects and plans for maintaining more than 1300 miles of roads in northwest Wyoming.
The Worland City Council will meet at City Hall at 7 o’ clock. Their agenda includes a budget resolution concerning the recent vote to appropriate $25,000 for a new bathroom at Green Hills Golf Course. As well the council will hear from Maverick about the proposed installation of an “adult chiller” machine. An Adult Chiller is basically a slushee with alcohol added into it.
All meetings are open to the public–unless an executive session is called for–most executive sessions are known in advance and listed on the agenda. You can find agendas at washakiecounty.net and cityofworland.org respectively.
