Written by on December 20, 2019

Wyoming might have a DUI problem.

An analysis of DUI prevalence, arrests, and fatalities has been assembled by the website The Zebra, which focuses on insurance issue. Surprisingly – or not – 4 of the top 5 states with the most drunk driving problems all border each other – Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming.

Wyoming might have the lowest population of the 50 states, but it is #4 for drunk driving problems per capita – 5.9 fatalities, 563 DUI arrests, and a prevelances of 1.4% per 100,000 people. But the most distressing statistic? Wyoming has the 2nd highest DUI fatality rate. Period.

With Christmas and New Years Eve right around the corner, its especially important to drink and drive responsibly. These are statistics nobody wants to contribute to.
