Gabby Petito may be missing somewhere in Yellowstone or Grand Teton National Parks, and her family has taken to social media in the hopes of finding her.

The Facebook group, Missing people of Wyoming is a resource for anyone looking for a lost friend or loved one. Now, a New York family is hoping the group will give them information on their missing daughter.

22-year-old Gabby Petito has been missing since Aug. 25. She went missing while taking a trip through the western U.S. with her boyfriend, Brian Laundrie. They had been traveling since early July 2021.

According to the Facebook group Find Gabby, Gabby and Laundrie checked out of a Salt Lake City hotel on Aug. 24. From there, they drove a converted white 2012 Ford transit van to Grand Teton National Park.

Gabby was last seen in Grand Teton on Aug. 25, heading north towards Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. It’s also the last day she posted on her personal Instagram page.

Brian Laundrie has since returned from the trip – with the van and without Gabby. Joseph Petito – Gabby’s father – says Laundrie has “retained a lawyer and is uncooperative currently.”

Any information on Gabby Petito is currently being sought by the Petito Family and the Suffolk County, NY Police Department.

Gabby Petito is 5’5” and 100 lbs. with blue eyes and blonde hair. She has several tattoos, including a triangle with flowers on her left arm and the phrase “Let it be” on her right arm.

Anyone with information should contact their local law enforcement officials or the Suffolk County Police Department at 1-800-220-8477. Any information on Gabby is the top priority, as the van and the boyfriend have been accounted for.

The Facebook page Find Gabby has been set up to provide the most up-to-date information on the search for Gabby Petito. A GoFundMe has also been set up to help with search-related costs.
