November 19, 2025 (Cody, WYOMING) – The City of Cody is nearing completion of the Storm Drain Master Plan, and is seeking public input on the Final Report and recommended improvement projects.
The Storm Drain Master Plan (SDMP) is a comprehensive study that analyzes storm drainage patterns throughout the City, defines goals for storm water management, and prioritizes future infrastructure investments. The storm drainage system is critical infrastructure that protects residential and commercial structures from flood events. During the development of the SDMP, the consultant team of Bowen Collins & Associates and Engineering Associates created a prioritized Capital Improvement Plan, which identified areas in our community with existing storm drainage deficiencies.
Residents are encouraged to review the Final Report and Capital Improvement Plan, then submit feedback via a public survey. All documents can be accessed in the following ways:
● Online: Visit the City’s website at www.codywy.gov/420/Storm-Drainage
● In person: Paper copies are available at the following locations:

○ Paul Stock Aquatic and Recreation Center – 1402 Heart Mountain Street
○ Park County Library – 1500 Heart Mountain Street
