The Cody Fillies Girls Basketball team went 3-0 at the Compete Casper Classic this past weekend in Casper. Cody played 4A schools in this tournament with wins over Jackson, 63-8, on Thursday. The Fillies beat Laramie 61-29 on Friday, and to finish the tournament on Saturday, the Fillies would get a 75-37 win over Natrona County.
Cody was led in scoring by Junior Grace Hays, who averaged 29.3 points per game. 39 against Natrona County, 21 against Laramie, and 28 against Jackson.
Of the four 3A schools at the tournament, Cody averaged the most points with 66, and Lovell averaged 60 points per game, but had a double overtime game against Riverton. Worland averaged 52.6 points per game, and Douglas averaged 41 per game.
Defensively Cody held their opponents to 24.7 points per game.
