Cody Regional Health Foundation Launches Long Term Care Project on #GIVINGTUESDAY, December 2nd

Author name

December 1, 2025

Giving Tuesday, December 2, 2025, celebrates a global movement rooted in radical generosity. Whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor or stranger, showing up, or sharing what we have with those in need—every act of generosity matters, and everyone has something to give.

This year, the focus of Giving Tuesday at the Cody Regional Health Foundation is supporting our Long Term Care Center through the launch of our “Living Made Lovely” project. Our goal is to provide new bedside tables and wardrobes for residents, helping ensure a warm, comfortable, home-like environment for our senior neighbors.

“We want to offer a comfortable, home-like environment for each resident. Our long term care residents deserve comfort and quality in their rooms—their home away from home,” shared Heather Stambaugh, Foundation Director. “As we kick off the busyness of the season, Giving Tuesday is an opportunity for our community to pause and consider our neighbors, whether that means supporting our senior residents or others who may need assistance.”

The “Living Made Lovely” project goal is $125,000, which covers new furniture purchases, shipping, assembly, and the removal of worn-out pieces.

Cody Regional Health CEO, Hannah McRae adds, “These rooms are where our residents rest, unwind, and find comfort. We hope our community will join us in refreshing these cherished spaces for the friends and family living in our Long Term Care Center.”
