Average gasoline prices in Wyoming have fallen 0.9 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.85/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 494 stations in Wyoming. Prices in Wyoming are 17.5 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 25.7 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has increased 2.5 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $3.663 per gallon. According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Wyoming was priced at $2.38/g yesterday while the most expensive was $3.49/g, a difference of $1.11/g. The lowest price

Driving While Fatigued Leads to Violent Crash, Citations on I-80 in Cheyenne

On October 29, 2025, at approximately 7:22 a.m., the Wyoming Highway Patrol responded to a single vehicle rollover on I-80 in Cheyenne, at mile marker 362. When troopers arrived, they found that a commercial dump truck was eastbound when it began to drift to the right side of the roadway. The truck struck the jersey barrier on the front passenger side, spun, then tripped and rolled off the roadway.  The driver of the truck was wearing their seatbelt at the time of the crash and suffered only minor injuries. Governor Orders Flags Lowered to Half-Staff on Monday, Nov. 3

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Oct. 29, 2025 –  Governor Mark Gordon and all of Wyoming mourn the loss of former Secretary of State Kathy Karpan, who passed away October 24, 2025. The Cody Fillies Volleyball team finished the regular season 30-2 with the 2 losses to Wyoming’s number 1-ranked 4A Kelly Walsh. The Fillies won all 3 of the tournaments they were in. Douglas, Gillette, and Rawlins. They also swept the West Conference Duals in Worland. Cody was 10-0 in conference with wins over Lovell, Powell, and Lovel from the Northwest Quad. We had a great conference meet in Powell this weekend! The girls competed exceptionally well at our conference championship, which culminated in a strong second-place finish overall! Every single member of the team made it to compete in day 2 and came out of the meet with at least one (if not more) personal and/or season best!
