2022-23 Conference Schedules released for Cody/Area High School Football Teams

The 2022, 2023 conference schedules for High School Football has been released. Today, we’ll take a look at Cody Football’s Conference schedule as well as area teams.

The WHSAA sets the conference schedules, non-conference schedule is set by the school’s themselves. Non-conference schedules should be finalized in the next couple of days.

Cody will get conference play underway, during Week 4 of the High School football season, on Friday September 23^rd as they’ll travel to Jackson for a re-match of the State Championship game. One thing that I really like is Cody and Powell will square off in the final game of the season. Nothing like a Big Horn Brawl, pitting Park County rivals against one another to conclude regular season play.

Class 2A, 1A 9-man and 6-man were all affected by reclassification. Meanwhile, 1A 9-man will have a new conference split as they will go to a North-South format instead of East-West.
