2023 CMT Music Awards Announce Nominees

The nominations for the 2023 CMT Music Awards have been announced!
While I’m sure you’ll recognize some of the names, I wouldn’t be surprised if some don’t ring a bell. This year’s list is composed of 21 artists who are celebrating their first nomination. Musicians such as Corey Kent, Jackson Dean, Morgan Wade, Bailey Zimmerman, and Avery Anna are just a few of the “first timers.”
Of course, some of the biggest names in Country Music were also nominated, but none received more nominations than Lainey Wilson. CMT.com reports that “Wilson nabbed four mentions in country music’s only fan-voted awards show, including Video of the Year, Female Video of the Year, Collaborative Video of the Year, and CMT Performance of the Year.”
