Almost 1000 Pounds Lost “At Work”

Written by on February 15, 2018

Over a thousand pounds have disappeared in the Big Horn Basin in the last month.
But there’s no mystery as to how those pounds vanished– the Big Horn Radio Network’s “Losin’ It At Work” competition is to blame. 30 teams, with 4-6 people per team, banded together in January to get healthy in 2018. Through camaraderie, exercise and better food choices, around 150 people have lost 914 pounds as of the end of last week, with results from this Monday’s weigh-in yet to be posted.
Jed Burns with the Big Horn Radio Network says that there’s no doubt that this competition can be a launching pad for people who want to create new healthy habits for life.
The final weigh in for the competition is next Monday, February 19th. The person who loses the highest percentage of body weight will win a brand new elliptical machine, with teams receiving prizes as well.
