Blood Drive Still Needs Donors

Written by on May 16, 2018

The blood drive that continues today at the Cody VFW is still short donors.
Joshua Randall with United Blood Services says that yesterday they came up short, with 75 donors participating but only 63 successful donations.
Randall says there are still 34 slots open today, and that they are in serious need this week. He adds that walk-ins are welcome.
Today’s drive will be held from 11 to 5:30, with all donors invited to have lunch from 11-1. Randall says that today is also a day to celebrate local heroes, so donors have an opportunity to thank those in the community who help others. He added that as an extra incentive for donors, they are giving away a $200 KOA gift card as well.
