Body Discovered in Basin

A mysterious death is being investigated in Basin.
According to an article in the Basin Republican-Rustler, Basin Police received a report yesterday afternoon of a body lying in a yard on A Street in the 600 block. As of yesterday evening, the scene was marked off with crime tape.
The article states that age, gender and cause of death have not yet been released, although a Basin police officer was seen carrying an evidence bag that contained a knife. Police Chief Chris Kampbell said he could not rule out foul play, although he said the knife did not play a major role in the event.
