A bomb threat was received yesterday by the Shoshone National Forest.
Forest officials say that Wednesday afternoon, the Wapiti Ranger District office of the Shoshone National Forest received a telephone call threatening the presence of a bomb in one of the Forest’s campgrounds.
US Forest Service personnel are working closely with the Park County Sheriff’s Office and the Cody Police Department, but there has been no additional information released on the matter. The Shoshone National Forest remains open to the public.
