Boot Scoot’n Boogie Cancelled

The Boot Scoot ‘n Boogie event that would have kicked off Rendezvous Royale week in Cody has been cancelled.
The event was scheduled for Saturday, September 16th, and was planned as a six-hour street festival, with classic cars, live music, artist demonstrations, a runway fashion show and a street dance.
According to the committee’s Facebook page, the cancellation is due to several issues related to the organization and promotion of such a large event, which encompasses extensive amounts of planning and expense.
The event has been a regular part of the Rendezvous Royale week for almost a decade. The committee expressed their wish to be able to regroup and plan for an event next year.
