Both Cody Indoor Track Teams Claim 3A State Championships

The Cody Indoor track teams were in Gillette over the weekend taking part in the first ever Class 3A State Indoor Championship track meet.

Both the Broncs and Fillies would come away State Champions!

The Fillies finished with 118 points. Star Valley was 2^nd with 94 points. Worland finished in 7^th with Powell 9^th.

The Broncs finished with 113 points. Torrington was 2^nd with 88. Powell was 7^th.

And now let’s take a look at Fillies top finishers (places 1-8):

Ada Nelson finished 1^st in the 800 and 3^rd in the 400.

Taylen Stinson was 3^rd in the 800 with Ava Stafford 5^th.

Stinson was 2^nd in the 1600 with Julia Nelson 8^th.

Mersades Jackson was 7^th in the 3200.

Ava Meier was 6^th in the 55 Meter Hurdles with Aspen Kalkowski 8^th.

The 4×400, Sprint Medley and 4×800 Relay teams all took 1^st. 4X200 relay was 7^th.

Kenzie Ratcliff was 2^nd in the High Jump with Allison Gee 6^th.

Alessandra Broussard was 6^th in the Long Jump.

Kelsey Pomajzl won the Pole Vault with Hailey Holeman 3^rd, Isabelle Paddock 4^th and Emileigh Dalton 5^th.

Laura Phillips was 3^rd in the Shot Put

And now a look at the Broncs top finishers (places 1-8):

Dillon Brost was 4^th in the 55 meter dash with Matt Nelson 8^th.

Brost would also finish 4^th in the 200 with AJ Baustert 6^th.

Matt Nelson won the 400.

Charlie Hulbert was 7^th in the 800 and 1600.

Ben Stewart was 5^th in the 3200.

Graidin Arnold was 2^nd in the 55 Hurdles.

The 4×200 and Sprint Medley Relay teams took 2^nd.

4×800 team took 3^rd and the 4×400 team took 5^th.

Remy Broussard was 1^st in both the High and Long Jumps.

Ben Hogan was 3^rd in the High Jump and Logan Class was 3^rd in the Long Jump.

Broussard also finished 4^th in the Triple Jump with Christian Dudrick 6^th.

And Kaden Clark won the Pole Vault.
