Bronc Football Scorches Evanston on Homecoming

On homecoming the Cody Bronc Defense forced five turnovers and returned three interceptions for touchdowns en route to a 61-14 win over Evanston Friday night.

The Broncs got the ball rolling early in the first quarter with a Jackson Schroeder touchdown and following a quick turnover Keaton Stone found pay dirt with a touchdown grab a few minutes later.

Jackson Schroeder scored twice returning one of three interceptions for touchdowns, going 65 yards to the house. Meanwhile, Trey Thommason and Tanner Blatt scored their first touchdowns of the year as they both returned interceptions for scores.

It was an all around annihilation at Spike Vannoy Stadium Friday night as seven different players scored a touchdown

With the win Cody improves to 5-0 on the season, 2-0 in conference play.

Up Next: The Broncs travel to Afton Wyoming for a match-up with the 0-2 Star Valley Braves next Friday October 9th. Kick-off scheduled for 5pm.
