Bronc Tennis 2nd at Regionals, Fillies 7th

The Cody Tennis teams were in Sheridan over the weekend taking part in the North Regional tournament.
The Broncs would finish 2nd overall as a team while the Fillies were 7th.
All 5 teams for the Broncs (No.1 singles through No. 3 doubles) would finish 3rd place or better.
Broncs No. 1 Singles CJ Dominick defeated Powell’s Ethan Bartholomew 6-4, 6-2.
Broncs No. 2 Singles Tade Geving defeated Sheridan’s Luke Lawson 7-5, 6-2.
Broncs No. 1 Doubles team of Cody Champlin/Mitchell Schwab defeated Sheridan’s Hamrick/Woodrow 4-6, 6-3, 6-2.
Broncs No. 2 Doubles team of Idema/Law defeated Jackson’s Wolf/Webb 6′-1, 5-7, 6-1.
Broncs No. 3 Doubles of Kilpack/Thompson took second losing in the title match to Kelly Walsh’s Mamot/Wards 7-6, 7-6.
Anna Brenner (Fillies No. 2 Singles player) was the highest placing Filly, finishing 4th. Brenner would fall to Sheridan’s Ali Ligocki 6-4, 6-1 in the consolation final.
