Burlington Boys Win Class 1A State Championship Track Meet

The Burlington boys track team would claim the State Championship at the Class 1A State Championship Track Meet.

Burlington ran away from the competition as they totaled 155.5 points, that’s more than 70 points ahead of 2^nd place.

Let’s take a look at the top individual performers:

Clayton Edwards was 1^st in the 400 and 200, while taking 2^nd in the 100. He was also 2^nd in the High Jump

Jordan Michaels was 2^nd in the 800 with Grant Winters 3^rd.

Winters was 4^th in the 1600.

Howard McNiven was 3^rd in the 3200.

Seth Wardell was 3^rd in the 300 Hurdles.

Kyler Winters was 1^st in the Pole Vault.
